INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY 2022

Last Saturday, a selection of our incredible Year 9 and 10 pupils attended a festival at Blackpool Sixth Form, organised by The Washington Group, to celebrate International Women’s Day. This was a fully interactive event, it offered amazing workshops, entertainment and inspirational talks.

The day culminated in a collaborative session in which local influencers (including the Mayors of Fylde and Wyre) allowed the girls to voice their views on how to make the fylde coast a better, safer place for women. 

All pupils were a credit to the school and a solid representative of what it really is to be a Bede.
